Is Justin Thomas's financial success overshadowing his recent winless streak on the PGA Tour?

The last time the golf world witnessed Justin Thomas on the winner’s podium was at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the last two years, the 2-time major winner has tried to win again, however, he had to be disappointed time and again. Does that mean that the two consecutive winless seasons have affected his net worth? You would be wrong to think that.

Since joining the PGA Tour in 2017, Thomas has achieved many things in his career. Yes, the past two years have not been favorable, but he already has won 15 titles on the Tour, which is even more than Jordan Spieth (13) who turned pro before JT. In winning so many titles in the last decade, the 15-time major winner’s career money has surpassed the $50 million benchmark as he earned $58.97 million.

Even without a single victory in the 2024 season, Thomas earned more than he did in the 2022-23 calendar year. Fortunately, though, the 2-time major winner could finish in the top 10 five times. The highest check JT got was from the RBC Heritage, $720,750, as he was T5. And including all those top performances, he earned $4.475 million from 15 events he played through the weekend.

Although $4 million in itself is relatively a hefty amount when compared to other PGA Tour pros like Scottie Scheffler, who earned $29,228 from all the events, it drops JT to 34th on the PGA Tour list. Ultimately, it is better than the 2022-23 season because Thomas was ranked 52nd as he earned only $3.566 million. He also makes premium appearances at various events and masses nearly $500,000 from those. On top of his official event earnings, Thomas also bags millions of dollars through his endorsements. So what are those?

What are Justin Thomas’s endorsements in 2024?

Since he started winning big on the PGA Tour, Justin Thomas attracted many brands to sponsor him as he moves forward in his career. For clothing, Thomas was once endorsing the giant, Polo Ralph Lauren. However, after his slur controversy, the brand dropped him. And then, in 2022, JT signed a deal with Greyson Clotheir and has been one of their ambassadors since then.

Coming to his shoes, Thomas is sponsored by the OG in the golf world, FootJoy. You would find him wearing their footwear and nothing else on the course. And what could be more important than their clubs? For this, he has partnered with Titleist, which also sponsors his hat.  These two brands have been with Thomas more or less since his PGA Tour debut.

Have an interesting take?

In 2021, Thomas also signed a multi-year deal with Lineage Inc. He will wear their logo during the professional events and they also donated $100,000 to his foundation, Justin Thomas Foundation Event. Other than this, JT also endorses Rolex, NetJet, Troon, and Citi Bank. Thomas has also made huge investments in Whoops, which also sponsors him and LivPur Nutrition.

On top of everything, the 15-time PGA Tour winner has grown in the real estate market with a partnership with Panther National in Palm Beach, Florida. Last but not least, he also co-founded a sunscreen brand, Wear SPF after being diagnosed with early stages of melanoma in 2019. Overall, after taking in all his endorsements and on course winning, Justin Thomas’ 2024 net worth crosses the $60 million mark. He might not be a billionaire like his friend, Tiger Woods but Thomas still stands on millions of dollars, unlike many other pros.
