Rain-soaked wedding photos: A disaster or a charming memory for Tyrrell Hatton and Emily Braisher?

Behind the successes of European Tour champion and LIV golfer Tyrrell Hatton stands his loving wife, Emily Braisher. She is no less than a creative force who brings happiness and excitement into her husband’s life. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2020 and has been doing amazing work since.

Braisher has transformed her travel experiences into captivating stories through her blog, “Wife on Tour,”  it is as interesting as it sounds. As she travels around the globe alongside her husband, she makes the most of it by sharing her experiences through storytelling and giving the fans a taste of professional golf. While it may not have been updated for a while, her blog writings include moments from events like The Masters and the U.S. Open in 2017, which fans love.

“The ‘WAG’ (I hate the stereotype that comes along with that acronym) lifestyle can come across as nothing short of glamour and bliss, but in reality, being away from home and living out of a suitcase can be really tough at times,” she wrote in her blog as per Bunkered, expressing her thoughts on how it feels to be on the road. That’s not all; she also uses social media to share behind-the-scenes insights and candid glimpses into her relationship with the golfer.

She also caddied for Hatton in 2021 at the Masters’ Par-3 contest. This was the same year they exchanged vows in Asheville, North Carolina. However, the golfer describes the wedding as not very “smooth.”

Tyrrell Hatton says his wedding ‘was funny’

Tyrrell Hatton and Emily Braisher got engaged in December 2019 and tied the knot in 2021 in an intimate ceremony; however, the wedding day was far from flawless. Hatton arrived half an hour late to his wedding because his driver was an hour late; “It was funny… the day wasn’t very smooth. Our driver turned up an hour late, so that meant we arrived half an hour late for our ceremony,” said the golfer.

Despite the rocky start, the couple had planned a romantic hike in the Blue Ridge Parkway for their wedding photos. However, that plan also didn’t work out the way wanted it to, thanks to the heavy rain. “Unfortunately, after finishing the ceremony, it absolutely pissed down with rain, and we then had to drive like two miles down the road, pulled over in a layby, and we had our wedding pictures on the side of the road,”  he further elaborated.

But the couple still clicked some beautiful pictures and enjoyed their day. “So, yeah, not quite as magical as you’d plan it, I guess, but it was still pretty special,” the golfer said. This sure teaches us the importance of the moment and who we spend it with, not what it was supposed to be.
