She is certified by ISSA Europe and has dedicated herself to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. But that’s not all—Francesca is also a student of motor sciences.

Additionally, she’s certified in functional training, which focuses on exercises that improve coordination, balance, and overall functional ability. With her expertise and knowledge, Apollonio is the perfect partner to support Manassero’s golf career, both on and off the course.

Her impact on his career was evident when she caddied for him on the Challenge Tour last year, helping him win two tournaments—the Copenhagen and Rome events—on the Challenge Tour in 2023. This momentum carried into the 2024 season, where the 31-year-old claimed the title at the 2024 Jonsson Workwear Open in March. As he reflected on his journey, Manassero credited Francesca’s presence as a crucial factor in his success.

“Put simply, she was just there for me. You smile together, you laugh, you talk, and there’s more to just being extremely intense and focused on the outcome of every shot, which, at least for me, can become a little bit too much. Those factors helped me perform and made me bring out my A-game in difficult circumstances.”

Francesca’s support was especially vital during Matteo’s toughest period when he stepped away from golf in 2019 for a few months due to burnout. “Golf had become too heavy on me. That was a tough realization,” he admitted. Together, they worked to rebuild his passion for the sport and find a healthier balance in his life.

The couple tied the knot on August 10, 2022, solidifying their partnership in life and golf. According to the golfer’s Instagram, their love story dates back to at least 2017, although their relationship may have begun earlier. When not on the golf course, the couple enjoys exploring new places together, such as the Mediterranean Sea, Thailand, and London. They share a passion for outdoor activities, yoga, and trying new experiences. They have made memories together and have overcome numerous challenges.

Although Francesca won’t become his full-time caddie, her influence has taught the 31-year-old golfer what he needs from a caddie going forward. As he looks ahead to achieving more success, he’s grateful for her unwavering support and encouragement. Together, the couple are riding waves.
