The Ryder Cup is about to start in one week at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club. What is the food arrangement at the Ryder Cup?

This year’s Ryder Cup promises the fans a culinary adventure. Keeping in mind its international fan base, the food at the venue is also a homage to different countries. Fans can relish the delight of Italian, British, American, and other classic dishes of all countries which will be available at over 100 food and drink outlets in Marco Simone. The Italian specialty of pasta and pizza, two dishes that originated from Italy and now enjoy world popularity, will be widely available at the stands. Fans will get to enjoy the authentic taste of these dishes, which will give them a taste of Rome. There will also be a variety of other meat dishes available as well.

Ryder Cup also provides for its vegetarian and vegan fans, as their food options are typically limited. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free food will also be available. Fans who care for a drink can enjoy a range of options at bars located in the Food Village and around the course. An easy option is the Grab & Go bars, where one can rehydrate and enjoy the drink of their choice while not missing out on the game.

 The meat options are patatine fritte, with grilled steak strips on crispy skin on fries, caramelized onions, and sriracha sauce. Also available will be the Manzo al Formaggio Sub featuring sauteed steak, onions, melted, mozzarella, and a three-cheese sauce on a brioche roll. Spectators could also enjoy authentic Arrorticini, which is grilled chicken marinated in lemon, rosemary, and olive oil. For gluten-free fans, plenty of food trucks offer alternative dietary options. Besides alcohol, soft drinks will also be available.

Arrangements have also been made to satisfy the sweet tooth cravings of spectators. Also, a heartwarming surprise afternoon treat is available in the form of Lo Scarrozino, made of artisan olives. The Ryder Cup website has issued a list of what to bring to the course. According to them, you can bring your Mobile Phone, a valid form of original ID with all details, a camera but not on matchdays, appropriate footwear, and clothing for forecast weather. In food items, you can carry a refillable water bottle, other than that you need not carry anything else. All kinds of foods and beverages will be available at different stands. They have also prohibited bringing alcohol to the course.

Payment for the food can be done through credit and debit cards that will be accepted everywhere on the course. Water Refill Stations are available at many points across the field and spectators can use it to refill bottles. The locations for Food Stations at the Ryder Cup Village are the 2nd hole, 5th hole, 7th hole, 8th hole, 10th tee, 11th hole, 12th hole, 14th tee and 18th tee.
