Tiger Woods played the Masters after 17 months of staying on the sidelines, owning to the car accident he suffered in February 2021. The accident nearly forced Woods to lose his right leg. Hence, he claimed that the experience of coming back and playing the Masters was like climbing Mount Everest. Now, nearly six weeks after the Masters, Woods is looking to claim his 16th major title.

Tiger woods is playing in a featured group with Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth in round one and round two at the PGA Championship. However, in a video that is now making the rounds of the internet, Tiger is seen casually taking out a club from Jordan Spieth’s bag.

Spieth knows what’s at stake this week as he is looking to join Tiger Woods as a grand slam champion. And he might also know that it might be his best chance yet. What seems a bit funny is how only a player like Tiger can pull off stuff like that, taking a fellow players’ club out of their bag without a care in the world.

In fact, one might say that given Tiger’s stature, a player might also feel a sense of pride that a 15-time major winner and the greatest player on the planet decided to pick their club. Golf Twitter certainly thinks so.

Spieth on the verge of creating history?

Spieth is just one PGA Championship away from achieving a rare feat in golf, which is winning the grand glam. Only five men have achieved such a feat: winning the Masters, the US Open, the Open Championship, and the PGA Championship. Those five players are Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Ben Hogan, and Gene Sarazen.

This week marks Spieth’s sixth attempt at finishing the career grand slam. Could he accomplish the feat next to the golfing greats and cement his name in the history books of the game?
