The former Miss Georgia Teen USA turned to the popular social media app Instagram to celebrate the anniversary of her special day. Posting a picture of the glorious moment, she wrote a few lines describing her thoughts about the incident.

“Celebrating our engagement anniversary! (Which I clearly know is not a thing but any excuse for a date night right?!)” she wrote in her story. In the picture, Koepka, sporting a casual look with a white t-shirt and sneakers, is bent down on one knee to an enthralled Sims, looking gorgeous in a purple long-sleeve. The photo was reportedly taken near Jupiter, Florida beachside, where the couple resides.

In the same story, Sims revealed that her husband’s proposal stood out due to this astonishing detail. “He proposed on 3/3 because 33 is my lucky number and there’s also 33 diamonds in my band. What a guy!” she further wrote.

Sims had earlier claimed that she had realized a proposal was around the corner before it actually happened. “I was surprised. I knew it was coming, just not on that day at that exact moment,” she said.

The pair immediately racked up plans for their marriage soon after. The couple tied the knot in a beautiful destination wedding in Turks and Caicos, where they treated their guests with parties, golf activities, and, of course, a lavish ceremony.

On the work front, Koepka played at the season-opening LIV Mayakoba event, where he finished a lowly 31st. His team, Smash GC, stands in 9th place in the twelve-team standings.
