Paige Spiranac speaks boldly against the subjugation of women

Paige has a fearless and bold attitude. However, time and again, Spiranac is held in the court of societal judgments for her bold personality and clothing choices. But to what extent is this justified?

The problem does not limit to men. What makes it worse is that other women also have a role in this subjugation of women. In light of the current sexual harassment cases and allegations, Spiranac highlighted how it is also on women to make this change internally in order to make it happen for the outside world.

Indeed, what Paige said might as well be true. Internal misogyny is a concern in the way of women’s empowerment, and probably, we as women, need to fix that.

Spiranac and the issues she faces because of her gender

Paige once highlighted the hypocrisy associated with this issue. She strongly opposed the constant sl*t shaming she has to go through because of the double standards held by a select few.

She said, “At that point, you’re blaming me for how I look. I could be walking around naked, but it doesn’t mean I deserve to be sexually assaulted.”

Verily, judging a women’s worth for how she dresses and associating it with her professional conduct is not just disgraceful but also highly problematic. It’s probably time the world of golf makes some changes.
