And now, two weeks later, the 15-time Major championship winner is dealing with the exact same thing. Tiger Woods recently agreed with Rory and reiterated that Norman had to go. The feud between LIV and the PGA Tour has only gotten worse of late. Tiger Woods, said in his recent press conference before the Hero World Challenge that the CEO of LIV Golf, Greg Norman, needed to leave, agreeing with Rory’s previous statements. This, of course, didn’t sit well with the LIV side.

Recently, Woods’ long-time former rival, Sergio Garcia, clapped back at the champion for his comments against their leader. Garcia wrote in his statement, “Greg Norman is our CEO and we support him.” Sergio was dissatisfied with Woods’ decision to blame everything on the LIV Golf team. He said, “There are people who could have done wrong in both places, but it seems that there are only bad guys on one side.”

Garcia clearly stated that both he and LIV backed Norman and that a solution would be found with him in the picture. He did not agree one bit with his former PGA Tour rival. LIV has often shown their loyalty towards each other. They back each other and even Norman himself, no matter how big the controversy.

At the press conference, Woods opened up about multiple things, like LIV Golf, the WOGR, and Greg Norman. The 82-time PGA Tour winner said that in his opinion, nothing could ever work out between the two leagues until Norman left the Saudi side.
He stated, “As Rory said, and I said it as well, I think Greg’s got to leave.” Tiger claimed that ‘The Shark’ had a lot of built-up “animosity” towards the PGA Tour and that with him spearheading LIV’s agenda, the PGA wouldn’t budge. He said the two couldn’t coexist until each dropped their lawsuits and Greg left.
