The roster for this year’s LIV Golf Jeddah series is filled with talented golfers from around the world. Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are two of the many talented individuals who have been seen teeing on the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club Course.

As many would have assumed that DeChambeau would shoot his best shot this year to defeat Brooks Koepka, his former rival, that is not the case. The reality of the situation at hand actually transgresses a lot from this. In fact, Bryson DeChambeau has made clear that he would choose to prioritize his team, The Crushers, over his individual stint at this year’s game.

DeChambeau said to the Golf Digest Middle East, “It’s about the team. I definitely want to win the team championship [in Jeddah]… We’re that good of a team…If we play well tomorrow, we definitely deserve to be up in that No. 1 spot. I’m definitely focused on that… just going to give it my all.”

They have had a hot start today as they have accounted for one of the highest scores today. DeChambeau has ascertained how he values his team’s win over his own, thereby, clarifying his priority being the team.

DeChambeau expressed his disappointment with the OWGR’s decision over social media. However, since the pattern of the game and the scoring system are different in LIV Golf than PGA Tour, the chances of the OWGR agreeing to award LIV Golf players points for their game seems to be a slipping dream.
