‘We Both Struggle…’: Tiger Woods Had the Perfect Reaction Watching His Son Charlie Copy His Mannerisms at the 2020 PNC Championship

When Tiger Woods displays his incredible golf skills on the golf course, many fans admire the quality of his perfection. However, several other fans tend to notice the mannerism of the golfer of how he reacts to each situation. Moreover, several fans detected similarities between Tiger and his son Charlie, when they played golf several times together at the PNC Championship.

Back in 2020, both Tiger and his then 11-year-old son teamed up to compete at the father-son PNC Championship. Woods and his son failed to secure a win and finished in 7th position with a score of -20.

Despite their loss, the father-son duo still made the headlines for their uncanny resemblance on the golf course. A year later, ahead of the 2021 PNC Championship, the PGA Tour showed Tiger Woods a video of the similarities between him and his son, to which the 15-time Major winner had a heartwarming reaction.

The PGA Tour made a compilation of Woods and his son side by side and showed it to Tiger Woods. While watching the similar swing styles between himself and Charlie, Tiger said, “Two things that stick up: the timing of the twirls and the pickup of the club of the tee”.

In the next clip, the father-son duo frequently brush their noses in a similar manner. “We both have allergies”, said Tiger with a grin on his face. “We both struggle on the golf course We get like wind blowing or world sniffing and just just that little thing that we both have”.

Perhaps one of the most iconic mannerisms in the video, though, comes at the end when Woods and Charlie, both in Sunday red shirts, give massive fist pumps after sinking big putts. After watching the fist pumps, Tiger said, “Oh, that’s awesome”.

In the end, Tiger Woods decides to give Charlie his props by stating he is different from his father. The 46-year-old said, “He’s his own person you know it. Uh, that’s one of the things that that we made sure of that week you know. Charlie was Charlie, he’s whatever he does in the game of the golf”.

Filling the shoes of his 15-time Major winning father may be a challenge for Charlie Woods. Nonetheless, Charlie still has a long career ahead of him, whether it may be golf or anything else. The 13-year-old is already showing a glimpse of a bright future, just like his father, Tiger Woods.
