When Paige Spiranac retired from professional golf, her incredible social media presence helped her make it her job. Now, the 28-year-old offers up various kinds of content to her fans – most of it revolving around golf. However, Spiranac has done her best to make sure she contributes to society as much as she can.

That being said, one of her many deals was with The Cybersmile Foundation – a non-profit organization dealing with cyberbullying and digital abuse.

A victim of bullying herself, Spiranac felt passionate about reaching the youth with an organization like this.

While featuring in SI Swimsuit, Spiranac spoke in detail about the troubles she faced, and her work with Cybersmile. Whatever the cause may be, becoming the ambassador of a brand like Cybersmile provides an opportunity to create awareness.

Easily one of the most followed golfers out there, Spiranac’s contributions would certainly help a cause so sensitive.

“As an ambassador for Cybersmile, I go to schools all around the country and I speak to young girls and boys about cyberbullying, what it is and it should never get to that point where – you know – that worst scenario,” Spiranac said while speaking to SI.

She wanted to emphasize treating cyberbullying seriously while changing one’s approach towards it. “We just all need to come together and embrace everyone’s individuality in their individual accomplishments”. 

Why did Spiranac choose Cybersmile?

In the end, Spiranac urges everyone to cheer others on, as it will help us be better together.

Furthermore, she even discusses her own traumatic experience. “It’s time we made a difference, so I’ve dedicated a significant portion of my time to helping others.” The SDSU product was aware of how badly it affected her and only wanted to work towards making it all better.

Cybersmile has listed Spiranac amongst its ambassadors along with countless other celebrities from around the world. Their partnership started in 2018, with the brand welcoming Spiranac.
