The same thing happened with Tiger Woods back in 2018 at Torrey Pines.

Woods was already going through a lot back in 2018 during his return to the field of the PGA Tour. His game started with a wild tee shot but ended with a near hole-in-one and a solid round at Torrey Pines’ South Course. Although he made his first cut that day since the 2015 Wyndham Championship, there were still incidents that made his game harder than it had to be.

During the final round on Sunday at the Farmers Insurance Open, Woods was focused on making the shot. Right before he hit the ball forward with his putter, an over-excited fan from the crowd yelled, “GET IN THE HOLE!”, resulting in the rest of the audience yelling in sync, “C’MON, MAN!”

Fans said that the person who yelled at Woods mid-game should be banned from PGA events for life. However, there were no official reports about any such actions against the man.
