Tiger Woods and his Secret to Success: Decoded
Tiger Woods is probably one of the most organized and dedicated golfers of all time. His skill at the sport is beyond what words can account for.
Recently, Woods was asked what he would advise young golfers. His reply was indeed what appealed most to both players and followers.
Tiger’s genuine piece of advice included an eight-letter keyword which, according to Righty, can make anyone’s game right. This word stands for “practice.” However, cliche, practice does make a man perfect. Tiger clearly stands to hold by this ideal. Truly, this advice stays universal and is applicable to even the world outside of golf.
He said, “I think you have to have had practice. You’ve had to have done the work leading into it. If you haven’t done the work then why should you expect it to come together all of a sudden? Especially, when the pressure mounts for me I’ve felt like I derive a lot of my confidence from my practice sessions.”
The golfing sensation added,
“Do the legwork, you know, get out there and do it. It is not just a simple quick easy fix. Everyone’s looking for an easy fix, it’s not about the easy fix. It’s about spending time and then doing all the work and enjoying the process of it. Practices seem easier, training sessions seem easier.”Woods’ genuine probably will be of great use to players, as well as commoners from all walks of life, to help deal with pressure.

Tiger and his first coach ever
Rudy Duran, Tiger’s first instructor, had no idea things would turn out the way they did for him when he was younger. Even though he was aware of Tiger’s athletic ability, he did not expect him to grow into the “Tiger Woods” we know today.
In an interview, Rudy was questioned regarding his expectations for Woods’ career. He said, “I never really had the thought that he was going to change the game. I never thought I could see the future…he is really good…He beats everyone in his age group.”
Tiger worked hard to defy expectations and climb the success ladder.
