Tiger Woods is back playing professional golf after 17 months as he is competing at the 2022 Masters. He has made the cut and is currently +3 thru the sixth hole. However, his incredible shot on the 2nd hole almost gave him an eagle in the third round.
His approach shot on the 575 yards par 5 went into the bunker and was around 19 yards from the hole. Tiger then played an incredible shot with a wedge in his hand. He used the slope of the green to perfection and almost holed out the ball for an eagle. But, the ball went slightly ahead, and Tiger was left with a 3 feet birdie putt. Therefore, he went on to make this putt and got his first birdie of the day.

It was Woods’ first shot on the second hole that gave him a chance of making an eagle. He bombed a drive off the tee for around 325 yards on a 575 yards par 5. This tee shot really gave him a chance to go for the green in two and make an eagle. However, he missed it by a whisker.
Tiger Woods struggling to get going on a moving day
Tiger Woods went into round three with a score of +1. He was T19 on the leaderboard and was looking all set to get going. However, apart from the second hole, Woods hasn’t been able to get his game so far. He scored a bogey, double-bogey, and a birdie in the third round thru seven holes.
However, today’s conditions aren’t assisting him. Tiger, who is suffering from a fused back, is having a tough time because of the cold weather conditions. Additionally, the winds are making it strenuous, as judging the distance and shot shapes isn’t a straightforward thing.
