It’s finally happening! Ever since the TGL schedule was released, everyone had been waiting for 3 matches. The first one is the inaugural league match. Second was the GOAT’s debut with his Jupiter Links GC teammates. And the third match is the one coming up next week. Fans are going to see the co-owners and favorites, Tiger Woods & Rory McIlroy go up against each other in TGL.

The Boston Common Golf team is set to make their debut in the tournament. This is touted to be the biggest match of the season for TGL and the golf community can’t wait for it to begin. But whom will they see on the field during the fourth match of the league? Let’s find out.

Tiger Woods & co. vs team Rory McIlroy

Fans have already seen a glimpse of Tiger Woods & the Jupiter Links Golf Club. The second match of the season saw the Goat line up with Max Homa & the man who “almost killed somebody”; Kevin Kisner. While they couldn’t match to compete with Los Angeles GC, they still managed to steal the show by entertaining the crowd. Fans were happy to see Tiger Woods laughing to his wits after Kisner’s comical errors.

But will the Jupiter Links GC have the same lineup for their 2nd match of the event? No! NUCLR GOLF confirmed that there will be a major squad change for the 4th TGL match. Tom Kim has made it to the team after being benched in the 1st game. What is surprising is that he will be replacing Max Homa in the lineup. This comes as a surprise as fans were expecting Kevin Kisner to be benched after the 2nd round antics.

On the other side, Rory McIlroy will be making his TGL debut. He will be joined by Team USA captain for the 2025 Ryder Cup; Keegan Bradley and the 2013 Masters Tournament champion, Adam Scott. Interestingly, The Sentry 2025 winner Hideki Matsuyama has been benched for the first match. This comes as a surprise considering the excellent run he has been in since the beginning of the 2025 season.

When will Tiger Woods tee off in TGL?

The exciting contest between Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy is scheduled for Monday, Jan 27, 2025. But the timing for the event is slightly different than it was for round 3. The 3rd match began at 7 P.M. (EST). But the Jupiter Links GC vs Boston Common Golf match is scheduled for 6.30 P.M. (EST). The change in timings is a common trend in the entire season of TGL.

Fortunately, the broadcast channels are still the same. Fans residing in the USA can watch the 4th match of TGL on ESPN and ESPN+. Fans can also watch the match on the go by streaming it on the ESNP website and app.
