WATCH: Shaquille O’Neal Shares a Painful Golf Cart Fail on Social Media

Golf fans seem to have a few things in common. One of these, apparently, are some hilarious (or painful) golf cart videos. Often known to elicit a laugh out the viewer, retired NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal also seems to enjoy an occasional fail.

That being said, O’Neal, who is relatively active on Instagram, chooses to share content he enjoys. Mostly related to basketball, O’Neal does share the occasional random video.

This time, O’Neal chose to share a golf cart fail in his story.

Originally shared by a viral videos page on Instagram, O’Neal simply shared the clip on his story. In the clip shared, the golf cart takes a nasty bump and jump. Eventually, the driver somewhat spills out of the cart. Thankfully, there seemed to be no major injury as the driver picked himself up and walked off seconds later.

Interestingly, the person filming continued to laugh and film as the event unfolded.

While many people in the comments laughed, some felt concerned and added that it was not a good idea. Some even pointed out that the person in the clip even lost both shoes. One seemed to have flown off, while the other stayed on the ground as they walked off. Some users even wondered what the driver thought was going to happen, and even mentioned that their chest must have hurt due to the impact.

O’Neal, who shared the video, must have found it funny to some extent. Unfortunately, the four-time NBA Champion did not provide any further comment or even an emoji in his story.

While O’Neal might not be as involved in golf as some basketball players, the 50-year-old has had played a few events over the years. Back in 2020, O’Neal was also indirectly involved with The Match. Charles Barkley and Phil Mickelson chose to prank O’Neal, where the latter provided Barkley with golf balls that had O’Neal’s head on them.

That being said, O’Neal has always managed to make everything entertaining. Not only does he do so while on Inside The NBA, but O’Neal is also known to express his views candidly. While there was no added comment with the golf video, it was just another way for O’Neal to share something interesting with his followers.
