Lexi Thompson’s special home workout
The world stood still for nearly two years when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the planet. And due to the long-imposed lockdown, people were finding it hard to survive within the four walls of their houses. Moreover, shutting down gyms and other places for social gatherings left people no choice but to stay at home.
But Thompson didn’t need a gym to give her the required amount of motivation to work out. Unlike many golfers who lost count of the number of calories they munched on during the lockdown, Thompson had it all figured out. Highly focused on being fit, Thompson started with her unique home workouts that even caught the attention of millions of fans.

The player also shared a few of her workout videos on Instagram to motivate people to do the same. Although most of her videos were glute strength-oriented, fans found them very helpful. She even used equipment, including kettlebells as well as bands, which anyone could easily bring home. Her workouts included air squats, single-leg deadlifts, hip rotation, as well as the monster walk. Kolby Wayne’s insane workout routine for Lexi Thompson
In a video with Golf Digest, Kolby Wayne, who has been training famous golfers including Justin Thomas, shed light on his workout with Thompson. When asked about his experience and relationship training the golfer, he said, “Lexi’s probably one of the greatest athletes that I’ve worked with,”. He added that the best thing about training the player was her “determination” and her constant efforts to do better.
Talking about the Lexi workout, Wayne introduced said it was very important to work on the lower body. According to the coach, Thompson visits the gym four times a week when not playing in a tournament. She even does “maintenance” workouts at home to stay in her best form. Wayne displayed workouts that were very helpful for any golfer to play their best shots on the field. Nonetheless, with the routine that Lexi Thompson follows, she clearly deserves the title of being one of the strongest players in the golf community.
