Lexi Thompson is one of the brightest stars on the LPGA Tour. Thompson gained early fame when she played in the U.S. Women’s Open aged just 12! All her life, Lexi Thompson has always been true to the grind and has always inspired fans by positing her grueling workout videos. 

Thompson likes to follow a strict diet and never messes around with her workout routines. Fans are always eager to see what the 26-year-old is upto when there is not much golf on the tour, and Thompson never fails to deliver!

The LPGA Tour is currently in its off-season, giving players much-needed time to rest and recuperate. While a lot of athletes choose to head out to enjoy long vacations during this time, Lexi Thompson chose to stay home and get better. 

The 11-time LPGA Tour winner recently shared a video clip on Instagram where she can be seen working on her core with a half exercise ball. Having a good core is essential for developing power, and Thompson was recently seen doing just that while vibing to Metallica’s 1991 hit track Enter Sandman!

How did Thompson perform in 2021? 

While Lexi Thompson did not win a tour event in 2021, she did have a decent year all around. The Florida native ranked fourth in driving distance (278.35 ) in first in greens in regulation (78.81%).

While Thompson finished solo second or T2 in a number of events in 2021, she struggled to close out effectively. She finished eighth in the season-ending Tour Championship and took home nearly $100K.
