Jon Rahm is a six-time winner on the PGA Tour and is also the current World Number One. Currently, he is part of the field this week at the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Rahm met one of his true fans during his practice round at TPC Scottsdale- Stadium Course.

Jon Rahm meets his biggest fan in person

Meeting our favorite golf professionals is one of the biggest dreams of every golf fan. Golf fans travel miles throughout the world to just a glimpse of their favorite player. However, not everyone is able to do so. But at the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open, Rahms’ biggest fan, Phoenix joined him for his practice round before the start of the event. Phoenix accompanied Rahm throughout his practice round and also made a few putts with the World Number One.

Surprisingly, both of them have something in common. Jon as well as, Phoenix is a clubbed foot. As a result, sharing a special bond with each other. Jon spoke to Phoenix virtually a couple of years back and now met him in person. Phoenix also received a warm welcome at the par 3 16th.

Both Jon Rahm and Phoenix did a couple of fun activities, which included, Phoenix throwing the ball into the gallery. Rahm also spoke some special words for Phoenix, which he had earlier mentioned when they met virtually. He said, “What starts the wrong way, will finish the right way”. “Meaning something good is coming for you in the future”.

Well, Phoenix also did something really amazing; he gave Rahm his lucky ball marker. What a gesture from the young man.

Jons’ round three recap

Rahm carded a third round of 68, three-under-par. He made three birdies as well as, two bogeys on the front nine to make the turn at one-under-par, 34. On the back nine, he made three birdies and one bogey. As a result, carding a two-under-par, 34 on the back nine. His overall score for the event is eight-under-par.
