John Daly displays amazing talent on the field
Daly was playing in the 2020 Bone Frog Open. It is a tournament dedicated to the benefit of the fallen US Navy Seal. A video of the event recently started to circulate where Daly could be seen showing his unbelievable golfing skills, and that too barefoot.
John Daly drank 15+ beers before taking the shot, wearing an untucked shirt. To everyone’s surprise, he took the shot and dropped a hole-in-one. It was the 11th time Daly had scored a hole-in-one. Right after he took the shot, he yelled “That makes 11 of them motherf***ers.” A lot of players have still not made a hole-in-one, while Daly made it to 11 of them back in 2020. He made another one in 2021, making it 12 of them in his career yet.

John Daly wanted to be a part of the new LIV Golf Tour. according to reports, Daly even begged in front of LIV CEO Greg Norman to have him onboard. But Norman refused to have him in the league.
Daly loses $1.6 million in a single day

Daly has been honest about his gambling problem with his fans. In an interview, he opened up about an incident when he lost $1.6 million in a single day. In the 2005 American Express Championship, Daly lost to Tiger Woods on the second hole. However, he made $750,000 that day by finishing as the runner-up.
But Daly was a slave to his gambling habits. He took the money and flew to Las Vegas, only to sit on the $5000 per-play slot machine in the casino. To his bad luck, Daly lost $600,000 within the first half hour. But he didn’t stop there. After losing the amount, he took a $600,000 line of credit, and lost that too!

By the time Daly left the casino, he had lost $1.65 million on gambling. Daly’s gambling habits have not left him, but thankfully, he has not stopped earning too. His source of income is not just limited to tournaments and makes hundreds of thousands of dollars from sponsors and other brand deals.
