We all know John Daly for his unusual activities off the course. The 56-year-old golfer is well-known for his unorthodox lifestyle. Moreover, his golfing method was unconventional at the time of his debut. In his golfing career, Daly has followed one principle: hitting the ball long.

He has used beer cans as tees, played golf barefoot, and done other things like this. Additionally, John Daly has teed off by putting a tee in a woman’s mouth, which is dangerous. However, his recent activity was no such life-threatening thing. Instead, it was a cool and confident Daly showing off his incredible golfing skills.

John Daly is one of the most prominent names in the golf world. He recently hit a golf ball over the highway that went inside the football field in Akron, Ohio. Hence, Barstool Sports reshared this video on their Twitter account, which is going viral currently.

He was wearing red shorts as usual. Moreover, he played this shot barefoot with a driver by his side. Daly also wore his iconic sunglasses, and the crowd surrounding him captured this moment on their cell phones and posted it on social media.

Meanwhile, Daly has stopped competing on the PGA Tour. The 56-year-old golfer believes he can no longer sustain playing 72holes each week. Hence, the two-time major championship winner competes on the PGA Tour Champions, the senior tour. Previously, he won the PGA Championship in 1991 and the Open Championship in 1995.

He won the 2021 PNC Championship in December, a father-son 36-hole event. John Daly and his son, John Daly II, obliterated the field and won the event. Interestingly, Team Woods finished runners-up. Moreover, his son currently is making enormous progress in his golf career as he has become a college golfer.

Meanwhile, Daly is all set to compete in the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship at the Firestone Championship South Course. This is one of the most prestigious golf events on the Senior Tour. Hence, Daly would be hoping to perform well in this tournament.

Additionally, he is also eligible to compete in next week’s Open Championship. And it is the 150th edition of the prestigious major championship. So it will be interesting to see whether he will compete next week at St. Andrews or not.
