The 2-day PNC Championship Pro-am meet began on the 15th, and the crowd and the fans got a glimpse of the entertainment that was to follow in the official tournament that starts today. One of the most watched duos will certainly be Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie Woods. The two even shared a beautiful, warm moment on the course right after a magnificent golf swing by the young golfer.

The two had some heartwarming moments during the previous year’s PNC Championship, and this year the fans have already caught sight of a few. One such moment came when the father and son took to analyzing a video of Charlie’s swing and talked about it.

The pair are back for their third PNC Championship in a row. They narrowly missed out on a victory last year when they fell two strokes short to John Daly and his son, John Daly II. But the ever-competitive duo will no doubt be back stronger this year.

In a recent viral video of the two, the pro golfer stood back during one of Charlie’s shots on the course and recorded his swing as Charlie drove the ball. The announcer said, as Tiger Woods recorded Charlie striking the ball, “That’ll definitely be an instructional video.” And sure enough, moments later, both Tiger and Charlie are huddled up on the course, analyzing it.

Tiger Woods has nothing but praise for his son’s technique

The 15-time major winner was astonished by his son’s swing. He said to him, “I mean look at this it’s a perfect, perfect backswing.” He went on to praise Little Woods for how far he’d come as a golfer and how splendid his technique was. “You’ve never been there,” he stated. Woods was more than impressed with his son and said, “How awesome is that?”

As the video went on, Charlie seemed to find things he could improve on. Just like his father, he seems to always be looking for a way to get better. “That’s so bad,” he stated, as he imitated his swing while watching it. But Tiger wasn’t going to let his son belittle himself. He reassured him and said, “That’s exactly how it should’ve been.”

Soon after, Woods also gave Charlie some advice. He explained to Charlie that once he had a better handle on what he was already doing, he wanted him to add a draw to his swing so that the ball would curve from right to left as it soared. Woods too, wants Charlie to only get better. And the eager 13-year-old has proved to be a fast learner just like his father.
