Bryson DeChambeau is finally a part of the field this week at the WGC Dell Match Play. The 2020 US Open Champion makes his comeback to the PGA Tour after a long period. Before his return, the Mad Scientist shared a beautiful video for his fans. His fans will be delighted to see him back.

DeChambeau is playing his first PGA Tour event since January at the World Golf Championship Dell Match Play. He last played at the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open. He even withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship due to injuries in his hip and left hand. He will play his first PGA Tour event nearly after almost two months.

Moreover, before his start at the Dell Match Play, the eight-time PGA Tour winner shared a delightful video for his fans. Bryson’s fans can expect fireworks from the 28-year-old professional at the Dell Match Play this week at Austin Country Club.

DeChambeau uploaded a positive video of him swinging his driver on his Twitter account, in the video, the 28-year-old professional is seen hitting his Cobra driver hard at the range and thus shows that he has fully recovered from his injury. The video also contained a message, saying, “Finally swinging my driver again. Time to push for the Masters.” It is great to see the mad scientist back in action.

Moreover, DeChambeau will surely enjoy the Matchplay format at Dell Match Play. This format has helped him gain success in his amateur career when he won the 2015 US Amateur Championship which similarly took place. We can surely see some huge bombs off-the-tee from Bryson at Austin Country Club.

DeChambeau’s last PGA Tour event summary

Bryson last played on the Tour at the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines North and South Course. However, the American professional did not have a finish that he would have liked. Bryson ended the event with an overall score of two-under-par. As a result, he missed the cut and failed to play at the weekend on Torrey Pines. His final round of even-par 72 on the South Course included three birdies and two bogeys on the front nine, moving out in even par, 35.

He made three bogeys and two birdies on the back nine to make the tune in one-over-par, 37 on his second round of the event. With him fully recovered from his injury.
