Murray began his career in the entertainment field in his early 20s. His involvement in Saturday Night Live earned him his first Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy-Variety or Music Series. Later, he went on to act in many of our all-time favorite movies like Caddyshack, Ghostbusters and Lost in Translation.

Stop showing this guy. I’m more interested in how @markbaldwin1 is doing.

As a reply to the hate comments, one of the fans wrote, “Some of these replies need to remember this is a pro-am.”
Well, I am so grateful for those who took time out of their day to inform us that a famous comedian is not a professional golfer (who knew?), and that they cannot handle 19 seconds of seeing anything but professional golf. I wonder how they survive commercials.

Because he does things that people find funny. Why exactly is that so hard to understand?

One other fan wrote, “The hate for Bill Murray is surprising. I don’t get it, he’s great, but is getting more hate than Patrick Reed…”
I watched him all day…the dude walked up to 15 said hi to everyone then walked into the public porta potty while everyone else teed off. Came out shook hands and took pictures with kids then went up and hit. People need to back the hell up and remember why golf is amazing
