After all, he has decorated the World’s No. 1 position for 36 consecutive weeks until he lost descended to the No. 2 position this March. However, how does he do that? According to the caption of the post, the workouts shown in the video are nothing but a glimpse of what the golfer actually does to make him fit before 1 round. In the one-minute video, the 27-year-old is seen doing a variety of intense training, incorporating weights.

The golfer had recently lost his World No. 1 position in March, which he had been enjoying for 36 weeks in a row. Therefore, his intense workout routine looked like he wanted to regain his position. Notably, Rahm has decorated a total of 43 weeks in the top position on the Official World Golf Rankings.
Mexico Championship – A step for Jon Rahm to regain his World No.1 position
Recently, Rahm won the inaugural title at the 2022 Mexico Championship on the PGA Tour. He impressed the golf world with his season’s best performance and scored an overall 17-under 267. Furthermore, he had scored 64-66-68-69 in four rounds, always scoring under par.

Notably, the 2022 Mexico Championship is Rahm’s first win in the 2021-22 PGA season. The most he came closer to winning was when he secured the second position at the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions. Moreover, the Spaniard only missed the cut once this season at the Fortinet Championship.
As part of winning the event, the golfer received the prize money of $1,314,000. Additionally, he also got the winner’s benefits, including 500 FedEx Cup points and 32 OWGR points.
Rahm got points to improve his OWGR standings to an average point of 8.2082. Yet, he still needs to win more events to get his position back from the current World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Notably, Scheffler has an average point of 9.8295.
