Arnold Palmer is arguably one of the most popular professional golfers of all time. He is a seven-time major championship winner and, as a result, probably one of the best golf has ever seen. The King has made a significant contribution in popularizing the sport. Notably, Palmer also played on the PGA Senior Tour.
Despite being famous, Palmer would always greet his fans and please them with autographs. Among many things, he was known for his humility.

Arnold Palmer was always available
Palmer is a golfing sensation for the times to come. He had millions of golf fans all over the world and always took time out to meet them. Meeting their favorite golfing professional is a dream come true for many fans; especially those who travel miles to see a glimpse of their favorite golfer. Hence, Palmer always made sure to he had his fans leave with a smile on their faces.

The former American quarterback, Peyton Manning, recently spoke about Arnold Palmer’s gesture towards his fans. He said,” I think Arnold Palmer really set the bar for being available, being approachable and making that person feel special during that seven to 10, seven to 10-second interaction of a handshake, an autograph, or a picture. You always heard that like ‘Arnold Palmer had a very neat signature.'”
He added, “I think that’s a Yeah, that’s a powerful statement because it’s that moment with that individual person and you’re not going to get a chance to redo that and the fact that he takes the time to write a legible signature. I think that’s important…. But I do think you want to try to… make this person leave with a lasting memory. That’s a great quality that Arnold Palmer has always done for his entire life.”

Arnold shoots round equal to his age
The King shot a final round 71 in the 2001 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic 2001, which was equivalent to his age. Notably, Arnold is also a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Sadly, he passed away in 2016, aged 87.
