Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods are taking over the internet after a sweet tweet by Notah Begay III went viral. The former pro golfer who turned analyst in 2013 walked down memory lane of his junior golf days with the former no.1 Woods. He tweeted that Begay and Woods started their competitive journey almost 40 years ago. And now, Jr. Woods was embarking on the same path, which was overwhelming for him.

The good friends, Woods and Begay, have known each other for a long time. They have played together since college, as they were on the same team. Even the last statement by Begay created a stir in the golf world when he said that his good friend, the legendary golfer, might surprise everyone. He mentioned that Woods only needs to feel competitive, and when he does that, he will be back on course in no time. And now, the pro golfer is ready to claim titles with his son.
How did the fans react to Begay’s tweet on Tiger Woods?
The tweet had an old picture of former no.1 with Begay 40 years ago at junior. And another image had Charlie, Tiger Woods, and Begay all together. It read, “In Jr golf @TigerWoods & I started out almost 40yrs ago! Now to watch Charlie playing at a competitive level is wonderful!”
Many fans appreciated that Begay was still out there hyping his long-time friend. And at the same time, they enjoyed that the native American golfer was doing great for junior golf. He has captured the limelight many times, and Woods couldn’t be more proud of his son. Currently, he is supporting his son at Notah Begay III Junior National Golf Championship. After the Junior National Golf Championship, we will see the GOAT playing with his son at the PNC championship from December 15 to 18. Woods was pretty sure of playing at the tournament with his son. Last year, the duo put on a great show at the tournament.
The father-son finished second after John Daly and John Daly II. They caught everyone’s attention in the second round by carding 11 birdies in a row on holes No. 7 through 17. It was a tournament record made by Woods and his son.
