“You are really f**king it up for the rest of us,” accused a follower as she took to the diva’s DMs in a bid to bring her down. Although this was not the first time that such a thing happened to Paige Spiranac, she surely felt different this time around, all thanks to the follower being a woman. The influencer, surprisingly so, came forward to disclose more on the same.
The athlete was spotted sharing an update on her social media as part of the Q&A session that she usually holds for her fans. A follower, consequently, asked her a query on the kind of hate she gets from men as opposed to that of women, to which she honestly admitted the latter being more brutal than the former.

The 31-year-old, in her Instagram story, divulged how she gets hate from “both” men and women before adding how it’s different for the two. “When I get hate from men, it’s usually something stupid I can get over like about my physical appearance but with women, it is the most vile, hurtful, like emotionally abusive hate you can get that goes straight for the jugular.” One can’t help but agree with Spiranac especially when both such instances are kept side-by-side. She was faced with a similar situation from a hater who was a man when he commented on how people “just like her t*ts,” and not her golfing content.
The social media sensation, however, couldn’t help but find the whole situation hilarious. “It’s funny,” she pointed out, “because, in one second, it’s like ‘Women should empower women’ and the next you’re like… killing you,” as she made a stabbing gesture. She also didn’t shy away from admitting how “women are so mean to other women,” all the while recounting the recent drama in the WNBA as well as other industries.
What happened at the WNBA? Well, the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer, Caitlin Clark, was hit with an away-from-the-ball common foul from Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter. The aggressive form of gameplay, however, didn’t sit well with the golfing queen, as she took to her X handle to point out the same: “Imagine bringing millions of new fans to the game which in turn will make every player more money and yet they treat you like this. A rising tide lifts all boats.”
But even as she donned her advocate cap for the sporting athlete, what ticked her off the most was not men taking jabs at her but women themselves. Carter pushing down Clark as well as the follower dubbing her a “disgrace”, “disgusting,” and “an absolute piece of t**h,” was what concerned her the most!

The online tussle experienced by Spiranac
Alongside calling her names, the follower compared herself to the diva while denoting herself a “classier” woman who doesn’t resort to objectification to get views. That’s not all. She even went ahead to downplay Spiranac’s efforts as an influencer by mentioning, “You are really f**king it up for the rest of us who don’t feel good about showing our t*ts and a*es to men in a place where it’s not even necessary to dress up to get their attention.”

Neither did the 31-year-old keep quiet, as she expressed her love for the game before emphasizing the need for women’s upliftment. “I advocate for the women to get into the game.” said the golfer before adding, “I also advocate for people to live their truth. I like who I am and how I dress. I know my content isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but there is a way to express that opinion without being so hateful.”
It is hard to refute such a stance when it comes from Paige Spiranac, who has done so much to spread the sport. Moreover, it becomes especially meaningful when she comes forward to urge her fellow women as well as other followers, “We need to uplift each other not stab each other in the back!”
