Tiger Woods scouts Southern Hills Country Club
The 82-time PGA Tour winner made a giant leap yesterday in an attempt to play at the 2022 PGA Championship. Moreover, the 46-year-old professional was seen flying to Tulsa on Thursday in his private jet to play a practice round at Southern Hills. He scouted the golf course to evaluate his body for the upcoming major championship event.
The PGA Championship starts in three weeks, and Woods is trying to see how his body responds to a hectic workload before deciding about playing at the event. Not to forget, Tiger has registered for the PGA Championship. However, his participation in the second major of the year is still unknown.

The former World Number One is starting his practice session in the above video. He is hitting maybe a three wood off the tee and smacks the golf ball. At the same time, notice the leg compression he is wearing on his right leg, which was injured during his accident last year. This means he is trying to compete when he is in pain, which is applaudable. But his golf swing is showing no signs of rustiness, and he is striking the ball nicely.

In this clipping, Woods is walking on the fairways of one of the holes in the golf course. Moreover, the real test for Woods may be to walk the undulating terrain continuously for four rounds. That is why he is trying to evaluate his body before making any decisions.

The 46-year-old professional hits a great tee shot on par 3, the sixth hole in this video. He makes solid contact with the golf ball and seems like he knocks it to about five to six feet for a birdie attempt.

In this clipping, he is trying to get the feel of the sixth green. Woods drops a couple of balls on the green, and it seems he is trying to understand how fast or slow the greens are. Furthermore, Southern Hills is a venue where Tiger won in 2007. So it may be the case that he will try his best to compete here once again. However, only time will tell if Woods’ fans can see him back at the major championship event.
