And if you didn’t already know, it is not as easy as it sounds to stand out in cheering crowds of hundreds and manage to get an autograph, a wave, or even a smile in your direction. However, a fan managed to not only get Tiger Woods’ attention but also interest him enough to pop a smile!

During the 2019 Players Championship, Thomas Wesling was present as a spectator, and had come prepared with one mission; to get Tiger’s attention. Moreover, he succeeded in it, and fortunately for us, the moment was caught on camera. But what he did do to amuse him? Let’s check it out-

Tiger Woods cracks a smile at a fan wearing his mugshot

During the Saturday round of the Championship, Wesling was wearing a t-shirt with Tigers‘ mugshot on it. As the video begins, golfers are streaming out onto the TPC Sawgrass course, and as Tiger walks out, somehow, amidst the chanting of his name, he manages to get a look at Wesling’s t-shirt. However, we would’ve missed it, if not for the grin that formed on his face!

Given the history of that picture, Tiger is truly the man for picking on the humor of the situation. Take a look at the video yourself-

Later, as the media spoke to the fan, he disclosed that he was not expecting what went down. Moreover, he admitted that other golfers, too, took notice and said, “I didn’t really anticipate this, but it got a reaction from almost every single person that we walked past at the tournament… I didn’t really expect to get noticed by the players themselves. It’s hard to get Tiger to notice anyone because so many people yelling at him.”
