Kevin Kisner is a seasoned pro and a veteran of the Presidents Cup. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, having competed at the highest level for many years. Currently, Kisner serves as an assistant captain for the USA team at the Presidents Cup, a role that showcases his leadership skills and dedication to the sport.
Recently the golfer went on his X account, to express his concerns about the uncertain future of some golfers. Kisner is bracing himself for a wild day of golf, with the RSM Classic and the FedEx Cup standings hanging in the balance. As he watches his fellow players battle it out, he can’t help but feel a sense of empathy for those who are fighting to keep their PGA Tour cards. It’s going to be a crazy day, with the pressure on and the stakes high.
Kisner is well aware of the harsh realities of the PGA Tour, where one bad day can mean the difference between keeping your card and losing your privileges. He knows that some players will be saying goodbye to their Tour dreams today, and it’s a tough pill to swallow. The PGA Tour is becoming a closed shop, and it’s getting tougher and tougher to break in, leaving some players with uncertain futures. “It will be a crazy day to watch the @TheRSMClassic and the 125 on the @FedExCupTracker there will be guys that lose their playing privileges today they you will never hear from again bc of how much of a closed shop @PGATOUR is becoming. 🙏 to all!”, he said.

The tension is running high at the RSM Summit, formerly known as the RSM Classic, where a slew of players are in a desperate bid to secure their spots in the top 125. For some, like Patrick Fishstorm and Kevin Yu, the weekend is looking bright. Fishstorm, the 36-hole leader, is on track to make a massive leap from No. 87 to 56, while Yu is poised to jump from No. 61 to 59. Ben Griffin and Nico Echavarria are also hanging in there, projected to finish at Nos. 57 and 58, respectively.
But for others, the writing is on the wall. Callum Tarren, currently T-9, has all but given up hope of keeping his job for next season. Joel Dahmen, who started the week at No. 124 in the FedEx Cup Fall, pulled off a clutch putt to make the cut but is still projected to fall short of the top 125. With two rounds left to play, the drama is far from over, and the fate of these players hangs precariously in the balance.
