The Irish golfer who turned pro in the middle of 2018 has seen a lot of ups and downs in her career. It prepared her to always keep looking ahead to the next opportunity. “#onwardsandupwards,” as Maguire said in her tweet.

The golfing star who was the first Irish female Pro on the LPGA Tour to win, had a reasonably good start at the 2023 US Women’s Open. In the first round, she had 69, but her strokes grew with every round with 74 and 75 in rounds 2 and 3 respectively. She finished the finals with 77.

Given the latest uproar on the Par-5’s dominating Pebble Beach, she undoubtedly did her best. That’s what fans admire about the former leading amateur golfer. She believes in herself and her skills.
