The name Tommy Fleetwood isn’t unknown to the average golf fan. His skills and scintillating performance, especially at the Olympics, haven’t failed to inspire many in the golfing world. Perhaps that is why it didn’t come off as a surprise when he signed a contract extension with TaylorMade, three years after joining hands with the equipment manufacturing company. And, as a result, he has been using their clubs at the quadrennial event as well.

As per the official records, the golfer depends on the TaylorMade Qi10 LS for his driver. The club which is lofted at 9 degrees is attached to a Ventus Blue Tr 6X shaft with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet 58 RD for his grip. The equipment, costing $629.99, helps the Englishman deliver a lower spin and lower launch while optimizing his performance.

The former is lofted at 18 degrees and combined with the Mitsubishi KuroKage XTS X shaft while the latter is lofted at 24 degrees.

Coming to his irons, the athlete’s choice of equipment falls on the TaylorMade P.7TW for his 4-irons down to his pitching wedges. The set of clubs cost a whopping $1999.99 and is made custom per the orders. Each of the irons is designed in such a manner that it boasts a “longer blade length, thinner topline, progressive face height, and more.”

For his wedges, Fleetwood relies on the TaylorMade Hi-Toe 3 for his 52 degrees. The piece of equipment, which is marked at $179.99, boasts a four-way camber that allows for a wide sole coupled with a low leading edge. The result? It delivers optimal performance across all conditions.

The final choice of his clubs, his putters to be exact, falls on the Odyssey White Hot Pro 3. He uses the club which costs $199.99 to hole his TP5x pix balls. With such efficient tools in his bag, it’s no wonder that he was able to dominate the field since day 1 at Le Golf National. Even so, Tommy Fleetwood could only finish T2 at the event all the while carding a silver medal.

The golfer from Great Britain scored an 18-under over the four days of play, owing to the figures of 67-64-69-66 that he carded over the same. Using the unique set of clubs, he was able to score 21 birdies and an eagle at the Olympics, the latter of which came at the par-5, 3rd hole at Le Golf National. However, the five bogeys he carded at the course turned out to be the villain as he finished behind Scottie Scheffler by 1 stroke. Unfortunate? His fans would surely agree!
