The AmFam Championship is currently taking place at Madison’s University Ridge Golf Course. This year’s AmFam Championship features one of the most decorated Olympian Michael Phelps, with 2007 Masters winner Zach Johnson. Michael Phelps is one of the most renowned athletes in the history of the Olympics. Post retirement, Phelps has resorted to spending time with his family and engage in fun activities. The Olympian is currently playing in the American Family Insurance Championship.

Though everyone is having their best time at the course, Phelps made sure to showcase his expertise in front of the spectators. Recently, PGA Tour Champions shared a video of Phelps’ doing a backslap and hitting his shot on its official Instagram account. The video was captioned with: “@m_phelps00 gives the fans what they want @amfamchampionship 🏊‍♂️🏌️‍♂️”

As he was approaching the 10th tee, Phelps stopped to do some stretching. But the crowd got disappointed because it wasn’t the arm-flapping, back-slapping exercise that was Phelps’ signature display before he went off the starting block and into the pool during his swimming career. Then Phelps’ asked his fans, “You want it?” Obviously, the crowd got excited, and the 23-time Olympic swimming gold medalist dropped his driver to show them his moves. After his well-known stretch, he made a spectacular shot. As he released the ball, he exclaimed, “Avid golfer, baby!”
