But even as the event, which risks many players their status for the 2024 season due to the presence of the ‘Drop Zone’, inches closely, Greg Norman was seen spending quality time with Gretzky ahead of the same.
In an update on his Instagram handle, the retired professional golfer uploaded a picture with the Canadian. The duo is seen posing with the trophy that Norman won at the Canadian Open championship in Oakville, Ontario, where he won in a playoff against former golfer Bruce Lietzke.
Moreover, the Australian entrepreneur uploaded the snap with a caption mentioning the ex-ice hockey professional as “One of the great people and characters in life.” Adding to his wording, the 68-year-old indicated that “all he wanted to see were his (Norman’s) Canadian Open trophies,” all the while alluding to the good time they had together.
