It’s been a rather exciting year for Brooks Koepka. Days after revealing that he and his wife, Jena Sims, were expecting their first child, he won his third PGA Championship. He is undoubtedly ecstatic after adding another feather to his cap. He battled out against Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland and won a whopping $3.15 million in the championship.
Koepka, too, celebrates in a certain way, but certainly not by sleeping in or spending time with family and friends, but rather by lounging around and cheering on his favorite team.

Brooks Koepka talks about his week’s plan
Koepka is more than simply a golfer; his obsession with sports makes him a legitimate sports nerd. Koepka discussed his plans for the coming week during a recent interview on the Pardon My Take podcast with host Dan “Big Cat” Katz and PFT Commenter. It includes a lot of games but surprisingly little golf.

When asked what he was going to do after his historic win at the PGA Championship, he replied: “Dude, this is going to be a long week for me,” Koepka said. “Ps game tomorrow [Monday], Heat game Tuesday, Panthers game Wednesday, then got to go up and play the LIV event this weekend [in Washington D.C.].”
The 33-year-old golfer is a staunch supporter of his hometown ice hockey team. Koepka is the only person to call them Ps. The Florida Panthers play their home games at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Not only of ice hockey, he is also excited about basketball. He also has plans for the Miami Heat game.
For the following LIV competition, a three-time PGA Championship winner will also play at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C., and Potomac Falls, Virginia. Koepka recently displayed his impressive abilities, although he is still unsure of his preparations. “I don’t know how well that LIV event is gonna go,” he said. “I’ll be dead honest.”
Koepka’s loyalty to the Florida Panthers
Koepka made sure to support the Florida Panthers, even after claiming the Wanamaker Trophy for the third time. He didn’t take a day off to relax after giving his all in the PGA Championship; instead, he went to a Florida Panthers game at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, with his fellow LIV golfer, Dustin Johnson.

At one point, Koepka proudly displayed his Wanamaker Trophy to the crowd while he was enthusiastically clapping and cheering. In addition to this, the Panthers’ team gave him a commendation for winning the major.
Koepka also caused a stir when he called Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad a “traffic cone” earlier this year during a game against the New York Rangers. He later expressed regret for his conduct, though.
