Unwelcome Intruder Triggers Mayhem as Astonishing Golf Course Video Goes Viral on Social Media: ‘Brave Soul..’

As surprising as it sounds, a lot more than golf occurs on the golf course. Although not very often, sometimes bizarre and unusual things occur on the luscious greens of a course. And whenever they do, it sure is absolutely bewildering to witness, as recent onlookers at a Canadian course can attest!

Animals have been a huge part of humans habitats long before humans came, but their presence on the golf course is fairly new. Recently, one such out-of-the-ordinary incident was recorded at one of Canada’s prominent golf courses and left the fans hysterical.

Fans witness an unbearably surprising scene on the course 

There was a time during the Wells Fargo Championship when golf heartthrob Rickie Fowler picked up a snake with his wedge while competing. This was an odd sight for the fans and even the golfers to witness. But how would you react if you saw a bear pick up a golfer’s kitbag and flee? Well, the people at the Westwood Plateau Executive Course in Canada certainly didn’t have to wonder about how to react.

A golf page, golf_gods on Instagram, shared a hilarious video wherein a golf cart was standing in a stationary position as a black bear approached the cart. His eyes were set on the golf bag that was just sitting there unattended!

The bear grabbed the bag with its teeth and dragged it behind the bushes. He sat in the bushes with the bag for just a second and then rolled down with the bag, all while hearing the yelling and laughing sounds from the people present on the court. Presumably, the man to whom the bag belonged tried to get it back from the bear and chased him with a club in his hand. Unsurprisingly, all his efforts were in vain, as the bear disappeared with the bag.

The bear and bag video quickly went viral on social media and garnered a lot of attention from fans. And the hilarious incident of the beast trying to be involved in the gentleman’s sport had them rolling on their stomachs and cracking up.

The golf fans left in splits after watching the video

Just like the onlooker in Canada had a hearty laugh at the unfortunate yet hilarious incident, the Instagram video also garnered attention from fans all around the world! Let us look at some of what they had to say.

Commenting about how this is just unbelievable, a fan said that this golfer’s wife would never believe his excuse for new clubs. He wrote, “Your wife isn’t going to believe you need new clubs with this story 😂”

A golf equipment brand suggested making the best of the situation and ordering a new customized bag: “That’s unbearable to see. Looks like you have a solid excuse for a custom set 😉”

“That’ll be a fun insurance claim,” said another fan of the sport laughingly.

One fan talked about the guy who chased the bear to get the golf bag back: “Brave soul going after the bear.”

Hilariously suggesting that this action was provoked by a frustrated wife, one fan wrote, “His wife definitely had something to do with that.”

A few more went on to claim that the bag undoubtedly had a few snacks in it. “Good snacks in the golf bag,” said one, while another wrote, “Yogi found the burrito in the bag😂”
