The fans are extremely thrilled as they wait to witness the three extreme match-play competitions on the course. After the great success of the recently held Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, it’s time for the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play. The tournament is presented by MGM Rewards and is going to be filled with all kinds of action and drama on the field. In other words, entertainment is guaranteed for the fans!

The tournament is scheduled to be played from May 24th and is scheduled to go on till May 27th at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, Nev. This is going to be the third season for the prestigious event. The match-play is going to be held over a 6,804 yardage. And a huge crowd is expected to appear at the course to witness the tournament live.

However, fans at home can also watch the game on their screens live. For everyone willing to tune in, the event will be available to watch on Golf Channel in the below-mentioned time slots:

  • May 24 Golf Channel (ET) – 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
  • May 25 Golf Channel (ET) – 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
  • May 26 Golf Channel (ET) – 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
  • May 27 Golf Channel (ET) – 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
  • May 28 Golf Channel (ET) – 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

How much is the total purse for the tournament?

There is no lack of entertainment at the 2023 Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play for the fans. However, for the players, the prize money remains to be one of the biggest motivators to give their best. And for this mega-event, the total purse is set at $1.5 million.

Digging deeper into the tournament, the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play features a unique grueling format for professionals. The 64-player field will be divided into 16 groups for the upcoming three days to compete in a round-robin pool play.

The golfers will be awarded a single point for winning, while they will receive only half a point for a tie. On the other hand, no points will be gained or lost for losing. Later, players with the most points in their pool will move forward to the single-elimination play!
