Indeed, golf is one of the most popular sports around the world. Along with professionals, the sport has plenty of recreational or leisure golfers and other sports pros from the NBA, NFL, and UFC, who fancy a swing. Recently, UFC star Justin Gaethje drew parallels between UFC and golf and revealed that he would love to be a professional golfer someday.
Justin was a guest at the Full Send Podcast and was having a chat about all things sports and mom. In conversation, Gaethje said, “They don’t have to win every year. They just got to take like top ten three times, and they are good.”

Notably, the host told Justin that he was, in fact, good friends with Bryson DeChambeau. And Bryson told him that since golfers are independent contractors, they have to pay for everything. Therefore, if a golfer is not making the cut, he is actually just spending and not winning anything.
Justin Gaethje believes anyone can play golf
Justin revealed that just like MMA, anyone can play golf. “You don’t have to have a god-given size, weight like basketball, football,” said Gaethje. He even said that anyone can become an MMA fighter, similar to golf. However, he believes the pressure involved is completely different.

“It’s a different life,” said the UFC star. “There’s no way the pressure is the same, and they get to be around the richest people and play the nicest golf courses. I would trade my skills in a heartbeat,” revealed Justin Gaethje.
Justin revealed that he is an average golfer, and he recently shot 84, which is incredible for a leisure golfer. However, he also said that his swing looks ‘ugly’, but thankfully, the ball most of the time goes straight. While concluding, he revealed that golf is his favorite sport, and he plays it every Sunday.
