This year Tyrrell Hatton is returning to the Ryder Cup with the memory of last year’s loss with him. This will be his third term after last being part of 2021 as part of Thomas Bjørn’s team at Le Golf National which ultimately lost to the US.

He has won the Cup too. Defeat won’t be the only thing on his mind. The taste and experience of victory from his 2018 experience will be a huge motivation for Hatton this year who will try to undo last edition’s defeat. And to that end, Hatton has prepped well by filling his golf bag with top gear for the all-important tournament.

This week Hatton is playing at the BMW PGA Championship but besides practicing he has prepped up well for the Ryder Cup by picking the right equipment. Hatton has earned a reputation for being a bit aggressive and angry. He has been seen throwing clubs on the ground in anger. Which is why it is important that he stocks good woods and irons.

Tyrrell gets all products from Ping. He uses a G430 LST Driver which accelerates ball speed with reduced spin. It comes with a new Carbonfly Wrap and advanced optimized face featuring Spinsistency. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve for maximum distance and accuracy.

His Fairway Wood is Ping G430 MAX. Which also comes with Carbonfly Wrap technology and retails for $550. It comes with a PING Alta Quick shaft and 41-gram Lamkin UTx Lite grip so that players with slower swing speeds can generate more clubhead speed to produce faster ball velocity and higher launch.

For his irons, he uses Ping i230 which is also preferred by many players on the Tour. Its activated elastomer insert creates discretionary weight to lower the CG for more distance while enhancing feel and sound. The rounded lead edge is made for smooth turf interaction and clean strikes. He also uses prototype irons 7 PW.
