In the midst of the palm-fringed greens in Naples, 10 teams—made up of a mix of LPGA and PGA Tour stars—will take the course against each other, competing for a fat purse. The golfing world will see a clash that will not only redefine competition but also celebrate unity across the two tours.

The lineup for the debutant event is a mix of a diverse spectrum of talents that have roared a combined legacy of 141 career wins on both tours—including an impressive 25 wins in the current season. The cast features 11 major champions, from veterans to rising stars, and the field promises a captivating blend of experience and youthful exuberance.

Among the pairs, we will get to see Rose Zhang and Sahith Theegala, each carrying a 2023 season win on their backs. Nelly Korda and Tony Finau are also in the fray, with a total of 14 pro-career wins. Olympic winners Lexi Thompson and Rickie Fowler will also be on the field, along with 26 others (13 pairs).

When it comes to the prize money, the tourney has a total purse of $4 million. According to reports on the Grant Thornton Invitational website, there will be an equal split of the funds, with $2 million going to the PGA Tour and the remaining $2 million going to the LPGA Tour. As per the PGA Tour Media website, the winner of the event will walk away with $720,000, and since the purse is split evenly down the middle, ideally the LPGA’s side winner will take home the same 6-figure amount as well.
