A Scotty Cameron Teryllium Newport Model was the highest earner. The 5-time Masters winner used it during the 1998 PGA Tour season before gifting it to NFL Hall of Famer Andre Reed. The putter was sold for a whopping $221,376, with the money going to the Andre Reed Foundation. Scotty Cameron affirmed the authenticity of the putter and even tried to buy it from Reed.
Another Scotty Cameron piece from 1999 sold for an astounding amount of $201,250 at the auction. They designed this backup putter to the exact specs of the Newport Putter Woods used to clinch 14 major championships. It even boasts the iconic blacked-out ping grip the golfer’s trusty-old putter has always featured. Golden Age Auctions, a leading force in collecting golf-related memorabilia, conducted the auction.

Before the marathon Sunday at Augusta, Tiger Woods took to Twitter to inform about his reaggravated injury, that rendered him unable to compete. Despite his record-tying 23rd cut this year, Woods could be seen struggling with his physical injuries throughout the Masters.
Bouncing back from his injury may take the golfer longer than usual. Meanwhile, LIV golfer and Woods’ longtime rival Phil Mickelson has already confirmed his availability for the second Major of the year. While Woods withdrew from Augusta this year, the 52-year-old Mickelson proved his detractors wrong by tying at T2 on the Masters leaderboard.
