Out of the many names, Matt Fitzpatrick, who contributed a Friday four-ball win for Europe’s Ryder Cup win and is the world no. 8, is the top-ranked golfer of the event.
Apart from him, Tommy Fleetwood will be seen at the event. Fleetwood also played a huge part in Europe’s win. He played the decisive hole to take the European battalion to the 14.5 threshold, a step ahead of the trophy.
Alongside them would be a few LIV names like Talor Gooch, Dean Burmester, and others who received special invitations from the tour.
The game format will follow a 72-hole stroke play. Also, a definite cut would take place after the two rounds, and the golfers who make the cut would go to the last round to target the whooping prize money. The stakes are high this year.
