Will Suzann Pettersen's leadership bring Europe another Solheim Cup victory, or will Stacy Lewis outshine her?

The American team, with Stacy Lewis in the front, is on the other side looking to claim back the same. It’ll surely be an exciting match, one you might not want to miss. But to do so, the spectators must keep in mind certain factors to enjoy the excitement to the fullest.

There are a few lists of items that the fans are banned from taking into the grounds at the Robert Trent Jones Course. Curious? Well, you should be, since all of these prohibited items are sure to disrupt the match play and get you kicked out if taken inside the venue.

Will Suzann Pettersen's leadership bring Europe another Solheim Cup victory, or will Stacy Lewis outshine her?

Have an interesting take?

  • Any kind of fireworks or explosives are banned from the Palmetto Dunes course. The grounds filled with lush greens and fraught with wind will not spell good for the environment if explosives are made to go off there.
  • The fans are also barred from bringing any aerosol cans or bottles to the Californian layout.
  • The Solheim Cup expects its spectators to walk the course, and not bring bicycles for riding the same. Nor can they bring any ladders or anything similar to climb onto the structure and watch the event.
  • While walking the course, make sure that you do not wear any metal-spiked golf shoes. Respect the course, and don’t destroy it. Instead, wear proper footwear apt for a golf course.
  • Then can we use unmanned aircraft? No, not at all! Any such devices, including drones, are prohibited since the golfers will have to take their shots without any more obstacles than the ones provided by the course.
  • Any kind of material that constitutes unauthorized advertising/promotions is better to be left at home, for it is not allowed at the Solheim Cup. This includes any flags and/or banners that can obstruct the views of the other golfing fans.
  • Now, safety is very important. And so, any object that can be used as a weapon, including the likes of firearms, knives, or such of any nature–regardless of permit, is not authorized to be bought onto the grounds. The list is not over, for any items that can be deemed “unlawful, dangerous, inappropriate, or disruptive by the LPGA and/or tournament site security personnel,” also won’t be allowed on the course.
