‘Two Losers’: Donald Trump’s Outing Infuriates Fans as He and LIV Golf Rookie Get Bashed

Attaining membership in any league is a massive achievement in itself, and to do that at the age of 19 makes the feat even more special. The new LIV Golf team, Legion XIII’s member, Caleb Surratt, has done exactly that. The Tennessee resident was a student until last year but is now a professional playing on the breakaway circuit. After completing two events in the 2024 season, Surratt enjoyed his off time with former President Donald Trump. However, watching them together didn’t sit right with many.

A quick look at Caleb Surratt’s Instagram stories gave one a clear picture of what he was up to recently. The 19-year-old posted a series of stories showcasing the time spent with the 45th President of the US at the Trump National Palm Beach golf course. One of the pictures was with Donald Trump, and Surratt wrote, “Unreal day and such a cool moment to be able to play with 45.”

After showing his gratitude to Trump in a subsequent update, Surratt seemed mighty impressed by the 77-year-old’s swing. The former President fired a dart and exclaimed, “Oh, that’s going to be close. That was good!” Surratt shared the clip and wrote, “Keep knocking pins down.” The last time Trump was spotted throwing darts was a couple of weeks ago. And the last time he was seen playing golf in the presence of LIV Golf players wasn’t too long ago, either.

Playing alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Al-Rumayyan in the Pro-Am of the LIV Golf’s Bedminster event, a video of Trump teeing off surfaced. While everyone there was full of applause, the situation online was quite different. Both for his Pro-Am appearance as well as the outing two weeks ago. And as Tour Pro and NUCLR GOLF shared Calen Surratt’s stories on X, the reaction was similar. Many were upset and shot daggers at Trump and Surratt, and they wasted no time voicing their opinions.

Caleb Surratt and Donald Trump made fans “despise the Saudi Tour” even more

The golf community kept up the trend from Donald Trump’s recent golf outings, expressing their unhappiness about Caleb Surratt’s day out with the former President. They even brought up controversies surrounding Trump. While a few called both the golfer and Trump “losers,” some brought up his recent case ruling that resulted in a multi-million dollar penalty for the former President.

Commenting on Surratt and Trump’s picture together, one X user wrote how Surratt “can loan the Orange embarrassment money.” While the golf community’s dislike for Trump has been evident over the past few months, Caleb Surratt got caught in the crossfire. They simply wrote, “Two losers.” Considering the civil fraud trial, apart from allegedly cheating employees out of wages and tips, another fan didn’t hold back.

Referring to Surratt, they predicted, “So he learned how to cheat?” Seeing as the LIV Golf player is only 19, he’s just starting out in his career. However, one fan sarcastically mocked the supposed career-ending move. They wrote, “Fun to watch Career S**cide.” The sarcastic comments didn’t stop there as another user mocked Surratt’s choice of company.

Since its inception, golf purists have been averse to the concept of LIV Golf. And now, seeing how often Donald Trump has been making appearances, they wrote, “One more reason to hate LIV…” Another fan echoed that sentiment, expressing, “Wow, I didn’t think I could despise the Saudi Tour any more…” From sarcastic comments to ones filled with dislike toward Trump and Surratt, one user simply wrote, “That’s just sad.”
