52-year-old golfer Padraig Harrington appears to be a living example of the proverb “age is just a number.” He has been playing well so far this year. The Irishman took home the championship at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open earlier this year. He was the captain of the European Ryder Cup team two years ago.

He may be past his prime but is prepared to win the Irish Open, just like he did in 2007. He is paired with Tom McKibbin from Northern Ireland and Tom Hoge from the United States. However, Harrington is unwinding on the course with his two dogs, Wilson and Setanta, before this competitive tournament.

He has got their ground access cards made. Harrington also met his young friends. On Instagram, DP World Tour shared this adorable video with the following caption: ”@padraigharrington and his best friends out on the course”.
