This year has won the Genesis Scottish Open and Hero Dubai Desert Classic so far and surely will try his best to acquire another.
Jon Rahm – Following McIlroy closely is Jon Rahm who is number 2 on European ranking. His Race to Dubai points are 3081.94.
Viktor Hovland – Sitting at number 14 on the ranking, the young prodigy Viktor Hovland has already impressed the world by winning the Memorial Tournament, BMW Championship, and Tour Championship this year. His recent Ryder Cup heroics further add to his impressive portfolio and has 1884.48 Race to Dubai points. Hovland too would be eyeing the first prize.
Matt Fitzpatrick – Similar to McIlroy, Fitzpatrick also is a two-time champion at the DP World Tour Championship. Having won the event in 2016 and 2020, he is among one of the strongest names on the field next weekend. Moreover, he won the Alfred Dunhill Championship last month, which must have boosted his morale. He is number 19 in the rankings and has 1,629.08 Race to Dubai points.
