The PGA Tour is here with another exciting championship. The Valspar Championship will kick off on March 21st at the iconic Copperhead Course. Last year’s champion, Taylor Moore, has also teamed up with past champions, including the likes of Sam Burns and Jordan Spieth, to compete for a purse of $8.4 million.

The 30-year-old won his very first PGA Tour event last year, beating a two-stroke deficit in the final round with a score of 10 under 274 over Adam Schenk. Moore will be hoping to clinch the second Tour victory and defend his title. His golf bag will surely be very helpful in making this wish a reality!

Moore uses a full bag of PING golf equipment. The first weapon of choice in his bag is the PING G430 LST Driver with a 10.5˚ loft, fitted with a Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei 1K Blue 60 TX shaft. The driver allows Moore to gain adequate ball speed with less spin and is also equipped with carbon-fly-wrapped and lightweight technology.

Moore’s 3-wood PING G430 MAX comes with a 15˚ loft, paired with the Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 7 X shaft. It helps him take long approaches and also generate faster ball speed with a higher launch for greater distance. His 7-wood PING G430 MAX with 21˚ loft and Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei White 85 TX shaft are designed to customize trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

When it comes to the irons, Moore has the PING i230 (4-iron) and PING S55 (5-iron to pitching wedge), with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts. Both of his irons ensure control and precision and save weight to increase forgiveness. Well, that is not all for Moore’s bag! He has a well-crafted collection of wedges and a prototype putter that he puts to good use.

What kind of putter and wedges does Taylor Moore use?

1x PGA Tour champion uses the PING Glide Forged Pro (50-10S, 54-10S, and 60-10S) with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts. The wedge has a more compact and forged 8620 carbon steel head that helps in attaining predictable and consistent results. This helps in adding friction to increase spin and control across a newly expanded range of lofts and sole grinds to fit the golfer’s game.
