The International swing of the Asian Tour is almost about to close down. The 2024 Saudi International is one of the most prestigious events of the nine events that have been hosted so far. First launched in 2019 at the Royal Greens Golf Club in King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah, this year marks its debut in the capital, Riyadh, at Riyadh Golf Club, from December 4 to 7, 2024. Last year, Abraham Ancer defeated Cameron Young to clinch the trophy.
The opening round of the event this year has already concluded, and the second round is currently ongoing. But what exactly does the winner take home on Sunday?
The 2024 Saudi International has one of the most lucrative prize money of all the events. It has a total purse of a whopping $5 million. It is also double what was offered at the International Series Qatar. The winner will take home the trophy, along with the largest portion of the share, which is a staggering $1 million. The runner-up and the second runner-up will receive $525,000 and $300,000, respectively.
All the 65 players who will make it to the rounds during the weekend will be entitled to their shares. The player finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard will take home $15,000. Here is what the final payout of the 2024 Saudi International looks like.
