After a thrilling competition at the Augusta National, the PGA Tour will be moving to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to showcase the best of its field. The fifth signature event has already started with its practice round and Pro-Am on Wednesday, and soon, the players will be teeing it up at the Harbour Town Golf Links course for the prestigious RBC Heritage trophy.
Among the field, there will be the reigning Masters winner and world number one Scottie Scheffler, joined by the defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick, Rory McIlroy trying for his first 2024 victory, Wyndham Clark hoping to play better than he did at the Masters, and many more. The question is, when will their opening round start?

Interestingly, at the RBC Heritage, all the top 50 PGA Tour golfers on the Official World Golf Rankings will be teeing it up, except Nicolai Hojgaard, who will be at the Corales Puntacana Championship. The field is indeed headed by Scottie Scheffler, who is paired with the two-time major winner, Jordan Spieth, for round one, starting the round on 1st Tee at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Whereas, the world no. 2 will be hitting his first shot with the rising rookie on the PGA Tour, Ludvig Aberg. The two will start the Thursday round at 1:40 p.m. As the signature event of the PGA Tour, the RBC Heritage will have pairs of two instead of the usual three, and thus, the round will comparatively conclude earlier than a full-field event.
And as only 69 players are in the field, this time, Alejandro Tosti will be teeing up alone as Nick Dunlap did at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The rest of the tee times for the pros at the Harbour Town Golf Links are below:

The hefty amount of prize purse at the RBC Heritage will be $20 million, and with no 36-hole cut, it means every golfer at the Harbour Town Golf Links will take something home. The winner will certainly receive the highest check of $3.6 million, which is the same as last year. However, the FedExCup points have increased by 200.
This year, the victory will be rewarded with 700 points. Moreover, although not as historical as the first men’s major, the RBC Heritage also displays a plaid jacket for the inner with a hand-crafted trophy of Sir William Innes. With all its glory, the RBC Heritage is an iconic event featuring the best of the PGA Tour field since 1959!
